Senior Staff Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Own the technical strategy for complex requirements and solve large open-ended problems.
• Drive all aspects of technical architecture, design, prototyping, and implementation for product needs.
• Review and validate the effectiveness of code output from multiple engineering teams.
• Resolve technical conflicts within and between multiple engineering teams.
• Lead a broad functional area and direct the planning and efforts of functional team members.
• Develop and implement tests to ensure application quality, performance, and scalability.
• Mentor other engineers and serve as a technical leader for cross-functional projects.
• Identify and quickly resolve production issues in coordination with support and operations teams.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field is typically required.
• Candidates must have twelve or more years of relevant related experience.
• Nine or more years of experience in the development of distributed systems, SaaS, cloud solutions, or microservices is required.
• Eight or more years of work experience with Java/Spring and proficiency in Maven/Gradle is required.
• Experience is required in designing/developing scalable systems, event-driven architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of mature engineering practices, SDLC best practices, and DevOps practices is required.
• Knowledge of real-time payment networks, FinTech experience, and Kubernetes experience is preferred.
