Senior Staff Engineer, GenAI

What you'll do

• Architect and own the end-to-end agentic planning, execution loops, and long-term memory systems.
• Ship production systems capable of handling millions of conversations with rigorous SLOs and safety guardrails.
• Build next-generation retrieval and reasoning pipelines to search across diverse knowledge sources.
• Establish evaluation rubrics, simulated scenarios, and LLM-as-judge frameworks integrated into CI/CD.
• Drive automation strategies to improve customer coverage and reduce cost per contact.
• Set technical strategy and mentor senior engineers on agentic patterns and reliability.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience building production ML/AI systems.
• 4+ years of experience leading complex ML initiatives end-to-end.
• Deep expertise in LLM-driven systems including inference optimization, fine-tuning, safety guardrails, and evals.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python plus one of Go, Java, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, gRPC/HTTP, cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, and real-time telemetry.
• Demonstrated ownership of high-availability services including SLO/SLA design and incident response.
• Track record of shipping customer-facing intelligent experiences with measurable impact.
• Experience with agentic architectures and RAG over complex knowledge bases (preferred).
