Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer, Hypersonic Propulsion

What you'll do

• Develop and execute detailed test plans to capture all objectives for ground and flight activities.
• Integrate, develop, and control special test equipment and instrumentation.
• Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of test data.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews to ensure facilities and articles meet safety and technical requirements.
• Provide oversight for engine assembly, teardown activities, and inspection processes.
• Provide on-site customer technical support for ground tests and flight activities.
• Mentor less experienced team members and provide project management support.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, a Graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree are required.
• Must have an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or higher.
• Must possess strong communication skills and leadership competency to mentor team members and manage complex projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% for off-site test support is required.
• Experience in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and hypersonics (preferred).
• Knowledge of liquid, solid, or air-breathing high-speed propulsion systems, data analysis, and systems integration (preferred).
• Familiarity with test instrumentation, equipment, and data acquisition (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
