What you'll do

Develop systems, subsystem, and component requirements for rocket propulsion systems' product development.
Manage requirement derivation, allocation, and documentation within requirements databases and specifications.
Coordinate requirements and specification change management with integrated product team members.
Define and manage requirements verification plans and compliance assessments using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools.
Perform functional analysis and coordinate system trade studies to define architecture and objectives.
Coordinate project risk and opportunity assessments and report on mitigation plans.
Manage a small staff of engineers or technicians by estimating needs, scheduling, and assigning work.
Deliver oral presentations and written communications to resolve questions and plan work during meetings.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of systems engineering experience are required.
A Graduate Degree and 4 years of systems engineering experience are acceptable as an alternative to the bachelor's requirement.
At least 10 years of systems engineering experience is required if no degree is held.
An active US Secret Security Clearance is required.
Experience in aerospace or defense sectors is preferred.
Expertise in requirements management, risk management, and liquid rocket propulsion is strongly desired.
A Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
U.S. citizens.
