What you'll do

Develop and deliver mechanical design documentation for mission systems and integration hardware.
Design structural components including brackets, housings, mounts, and other load-bearing hardware.
Perform engineering calculations and structural assessments to validate design robustness and reliability.
Evaluate trade studies regarding mass, packaging, manufacturability, and structural performance.
Lead mechanical activities to support prototype design, build, test, and production transition.
Coordinate vehicle integration tasks with systems, electrical, manufacturing, and test stakeholders.
Prepare technical content for design reviews, engineering assessments, and recommendation packages.
Conduct stress, fatigue, and vibration analyses to ensure durability and compliance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience, a Graduate Degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
6+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis for complex products.
6+ years of experience interpreting customer technical requirements into implementable design artifacts.
6+ years of experience with material, component, and process selection decisions.
Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science) is preferred.
Experience with environmental/qualification testing (e.g., MIL-STD-810), DFM/DFA practices, and root-cause analysis (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
