What you'll do

Test, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic sonar components.
Design, construct, calibrate, and maintain custom test equipment and fixtures for sonar systems.
Develop and maintain test methodologies, procedures, specifications, schematics, and technical documentation.
Analyze and validate test results to generate comprehensive reports and findings.
Lead and direct test technicians while reviewing and verifying the work performed by peers.
Support the assembly and integration of products including mechanical alignment and system evaluation.
Provide input for process improvements and participate in design readiness reviews.
Assist with procurement of test items and contribute to technical proposal efforts.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related fields with experience, a Graduate degree with , or experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
At least 3 years of experience using test equipment such as network analyzers, scopes, DMMs, DAQs, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
At least 2 years of experience using LabVIEW software to communicate with instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
At least 2 years of experience diagnosing and debugging circuit cards.
Experience evaluating and repairing power supplies (preferred).
Robust exposure to acoustic and sonar systems and theory (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
