Sr. Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer joins the engineering development team to synthesize and define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. This role involves coordinating assembly through system level integration activities, managing project schedules as a Control Account Manager, and providing technical leadership during design reviews like SDR, PDR, and CDR. The engineer will develop test plans, procedures, and requirements traceability while performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting for Submarine and Surface Imaging systems. Key technical skills include experience with IBM Rational DOORS, Test Rail, MBSE, JIRA, and Confluence. Required hardware expertise includes DC Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Fiber Optic Scope Meters. The role requires specialized knowledge in electro-optical imaging testing, broadband RF/microwave and antenna testing, and line of sight testing to solve complex integration challenges.
Define and synthesize test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems.
Lead technical design and development activities as the Integration & Test lead.
Manage project schedules, work estimates, and requirements flow-down for system qualification.
Develop test plans, procedures, requirements traceability, and test case designs.
Execute component through system level verification, validation, and troubleshooting.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified failures.
Support business development by creating technical volumes and proposals for imaging systems.
Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical presentations to domestic and international customers.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and minimum 6 years of integration/test experience.
Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain a U.S. DOD Secret Clearance (must be a U.S. citizen).
Proficiency with software including IBM Rational DOORS, Test Rail, MBSE, and Atlassian Suite (JIRA and Confluence).
Experience with test hardware such as DC Power Supplies, Digital-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Fiber Optic Scope Meters.
Knowledge of Electro-Optical Imaging testing, Broadband RF/Microwave and Antenna test, and Line of sight testing.
