Sr. Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer serves as a technical leader on the integration and test team, where you will synthesize and define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. You will coordinate assembly through system level integration activities, manage project schedules, perform root cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers. Your daily work involves developing test plans, procedures, and requirements traceability while performing verification and validation across component and system levels. The role requires expertise in electro-optical imaging testing, broadband RF/microwave and antenna testing, and line of sight testing. You will utilize tools such as IBM Rational DOORS, Test Rail, MBSE, JIRA, and Confluence, alongside hardware like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. This position specifically addresses technical challenges within the development of submarine and surface imaging systems.
Define and synthesize test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems.
Lead technical design and development activities as the Integration & Test lead.
Manage project schedules, work estimates, and Control Account Manager responsibilities for system qualification.
Develop test plans, procedures, requirements traceability, and test case designs.
Execute component through system level verification, validation, and troubleshooting.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified failures.
Support business development by generating technical volumes and proposals for customer systems.
Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical presentations to domestic and international customers.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and minimum 6 years of integration/test experience.
Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain a US DOD Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship.
Proficiency with software including IBM Rational DOORS, Test Rail, MBSE, JIRA, and Confluence.
Experience with hardware such as DC Power Supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Fiber Optic Scope Meters.
Knowledge of Electro-Optical Imaging testing, Broadband RF/Microwave and Antenna test, and Line of sight testing.
