What you'll do

  • Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for classified system security architecture and compliance with RMF standards.
  • Manage end-to-end system authorization processes including categorization, control implementation, and continuous monitoring to maintain active ATOs.
  • Author advanced RMF documentation packages such as SSP, SCTM, POA&M, and RAR while mentoring junior staff on methodologies.
  • Lead vulnerability and compliance assessments using Nessus, STIGViewer, and SCAP to remediate findings and reduce enterprise risk.
  • Direct audit readiness and inspection efforts for DCSA and internal Command Cyber Readiness Inspections.
  • Provide strategic security advisory support to leadership regarding architecture decisions, enclave segmentation, and classified lab operations.
  • Coordinate advanced incident response actions to ensure timely containment and recovery within approved system boundaries.
  • Develop and deliver tailored cybersecurity awareness and privileged user training for technical staff.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or system security engineering; 10 years may be substituted for a degree.
  • Active Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
  • Current IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM, etc.) or higher certification in accordance with DoD 8570/8140.
  • Experience in RMF activities, DAAG (formerly DAAPM), JSIG, and NIST 800-53 guidance (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows operating systems (preferred).
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools like ACAS/Nessus, SCAP, and STIGViewer (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
