JOB TITLE: Sr Spec, Integration & Test Engineering The Sr Spec, Integration & Test Engineering joins the AgileEO Metrology, Integration & Test department to support space-based, small aperture visible and IR telescopes. This role involves supporting program technical leads by performing technical analysis, managing specifications, and generating design review and technical documents. Key responsibilities include developing and integrating advanced electro-optical systems, managing subcontract costs and performance, and leading multidisciplinary teams through the project lifecycle. The engineer will design and execute test procedures for electro-optical components, analyze data to validate performance, and manage requirements traceability. Required skills include experience with thermal vacuum and vibration testing, Microsoft Office, and MATLAB. Preferred competencies include proficiency in optical testing, Model-Based Systems Engineering tools like DOORs, CAMEO, and CREO, and familiarity with NASA-STD-1540 and NASA-STD-7002 standards.

What you'll do

Develop and integrate advanced electro-optical systems for space-based applications.
Lead a team of engineers to oversee technical execution and project plans.
Manage subcontract costs, schedules, and performance for Mission Payload Flight AI&T activities.
Design, plan, and execute test procedures for electro-optical components and systems.
Define and maintain system and sub-system level requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Generate technical documentation including test plans, procedures, work instructions, and anomaly reports.
Develop and evaluate trade studies to support engineering decision-making processes.
Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers to foster professional development.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related science with 6 years of systems engineering experience.
Graduate degree with 4 years of related experience or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
2+ years of experience in Space and/or Aerospace testing techniques using thermal vacuum and vibration testing.
Professional experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and simulation tools like MATLAB.
Eligible to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Active Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance (preferred).
Proficiency in optical and electro-optical testing techniques and equipment (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
