What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Rights Management applications for global content distribution.
  • Lead the implementation of complex features, technical initiatives, and software enhancements.
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and test automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application defects, test failures, and production issues.
  • Provide technical leadership through mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews.
  • Drive engineering best practices and standards across the software development lifecycle.
  • Integrate APIs and manage authentication, authorization, and access management systems.
  • Develop scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS infrastructure.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics, or a comparable field of study.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a software engineering role.
  • Strong expertise in SQL including database objects, relational concepts, stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in Java and JVM languages with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Integration.
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Experience designing, building, and integrating APIs.
  • Knowledge of OAuth, authentication, authorization, and access management.
  • Practical experience with AWS services such as S3, RDS, messaging, VPC, and related infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of data integration concepts and workflows (preferred).
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and publish/subscribe messaging patterns like Kafka or RabbitMQ (preferred).
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining application health and performance (preferred).
  • Skilled in applying object-oriented and functional programming principles (preferred).
  • Familiarity and experience with Agile methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience with advanced tools including Kafka, Apache Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, or Serverless computing (preferred).
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot (preferred).
