Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java and the Spring/Spring Boot framework.
• Design and implement RESTful services to support financial transactions.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Manage source code using Git and follow the Git flow branching model.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
• Utilize Kafka for messaging and SQL for database management.
• Handle data formats including XML, JSON, and YAML for various system integrations.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States for any employer.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, computer information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in software engineering or related experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with Git source control, Git flow branching model, Spring/Spring Boot framework, and SQL.
• Proficiency in RESTful service design and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and writing automated tests.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Payments, Ecommerce, or FinTech experience (preferred); recent AWS Cloud experience (preferred); NoSQL experience (preferred).
