Senior Software Engineer, Experimentation

What you'll do

• Own and evolve A/B and Marketplace Experimentation products.
• Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines in Spark/Presto to compute experiment metrics.
• Advance monitoring and alerting systems to detect experiment-driven regressions in real-time.
• Translate causal-inference models into production-ready APIs and batch workflows.
• Conduct performance profiling, deliver comprehensive tests, and drive incident retrospectives.
• Design and document architectural solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Ensure reliability of microservices through logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in an engineering related bootcamp.
• 5+ years of experience in professional software development, developing and deploying systems in production environments.
• Proven skills writing efficient, clean code in Go, Java, or Python.
• Ability to debug and fix software bugs in a production scale environment.
• Experience with software engineering best practices.
• Strong grasp of distributed-systems fundamentals including caching, sharding, consensus, fault tolerance, observability, and incident response.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document architectures and algorithms.
• Advanced coursework or industry background in statistics, causal inference, or experimental design (preferred).
