What we're looking for

6+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical role.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and data warehousing with the ability to identify and reconcile architectural gaps.
Experience leading organization-wide engineering projects through all lifecycle stages including inception, stakeholder engagement, implementation, and operations.
Proven track record of overseeing incident management processes and directing on-call rotations.
Ability to make sound engineering and business tradeoffs considering long-term implications.
Experience building high-performance, scalable distributed systems at a 100M+ user scale (preferred).
Expertise in real-time streaming frameworks, OLAP systems, or Big Data/Hadoop ecosystem tools (preferred).
