What we're looking for

5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years of experience with Python or an equivalent high-level programming language.
Advanced skills with RDBMS, NoSQL data stores, caching solutions, and messaging/queuing protocols like SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pulsar.
Expert knowledge of distributed services, backend systems, and building services on public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Ability to lead projects, mentor engineering staff, and manage relationships with Product, Engineering Operations, and non-technical teams.
Experience working with fault-tolerant and scalable distributed services and systems.
Ability to design, estimate, and implement new and refactored software services securely and at scale.
