Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI

What you'll do

• Identify and prioritize business process automation opportunities using AI, intelligent workflows, and agent-based systems.
• Architect, build, and deploy production-ready AI solutions for document intelligence, decision support, and automated workflows.
• Design and implement agentic workflows that orchestrate tools, APIs, and reasoning steps to automate complex processes.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services to support core customer experience platforms.
• Integrate knowledge graphs to enhance entity relationships, context retrieval, and multi-step reasoning in AI models.
• Mentor and coach engineers on LLM technologies, agentic workflow design, and technical best practices.
• Conduct rigorous end-to-end experimentation including hypothesis definition, measurement, and iterative improvement in production.
• Establish engineering standards for the reliability, safety, governance, and monitoring of production AI systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering or applied machine learning experience.
• 1+ year of experience working with Generative AI or LLM-based systems in production.
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, and OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.
• Experience designing and operating production AI systems including agentic workflows and intelligent automation.
• Expertise in distributed systems, service design, performance optimization, and reliability engineering.
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, and knowledge graph integration for enhanced reasoning.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and collaborate across functions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
