Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

What you'll do

• Build end-to-end test automation for applications, services, and APIs.
• Own and manage the end-to-end testing strategy, including tooling and test environments.
• Create and manipulate test data for complex projects.
• Define and execute automated regression, functional, performance, and chaos tests.
• Integrate test automation into CI tools like Jenkins.
• Document and report system testing issues using defect tracking tools.
• Perform data quality testing and validation using specialized tools.
• Monitor and observe system performance using tools like Datadog and Splunk.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in software test automation for application UIs, services/APIs, and data quality.
• Experience designing and implementing automated functional, regression, performance, and chaos tests.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Jasmine/Karma, and Jest.
• Proficiency in test automation tools including Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter and WireMock/RushHour, and data quality validation using ICEDQ.
• Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Jira, Xray, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Prior work in a startup or incubator environment (preferred); experience with accessibility testing (preferred).
