Software Development Engineer in Test

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain automation tests and development frameworks for backend services and machine learning models.
• Analyze and implement best practices for coding guidelines, design principles, and CI/CD processes.
• Define and drive quality assurance methodologies to enhance productivity and service quality.
• Identify and resolve architecture inefficiencies to foster a culture of built-in quality and continuous testing.
• Create proof of concept models and provide recommendations for the selection of engineering tools.
• Mentor junior team members to improve technical skills and team performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in software development and/or test automation.
• At least 3 years of experience leading complex, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience designing and implementing testing frameworks for distributed systems, backend APIs, data processing, and infrastructure components.
• Experience testing AI/ML systems, platforms, ML model training, data pipelines, or algorithms (preferred).
• Knowledge of Big Data systems and Apache Spark (preferred).
• Ability to design and maintain automation tests, testing frameworks, and tooling for backend services and machine learning models.
• Impeccable communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across organizations.
