Your daily work involves developing highly available software to drive networking control plane operations on physical and remote nodes, as well as automating processes for development, testing, and maintenance. You will utilize C and Rust to develop routing control plane software for network nodes. This role addresses the complex multi-dimensional routing problems inherent in a global satellite constellation that integrates customer terminals, gateways, cloud services, and terrestrial infrastructure into public and private networks to provide high-throughput telecom services.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
At least 5 years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Preferred: At least 5 years of full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, reviews, and operations.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Ability to develop routing control plane software using C and Rust.
