What you'll do

Design and deliver a modern, scalable, high-throughput, and low-latency network architecture.
Implement RF beam and optical link planning to provide broadband network services.
Develop highly-available software to drive networking control plane operations on physical and virtual nodes.
Define and automate processes for software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
Provide operational excellence for control plane services by creating tools and refining operational processes.
Fine-tune the network by interacting with satellite ground control, customer engagement, and monitoring systems.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
3+ years of design or architecture experience focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
3+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed systems using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
3+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
3+ years of full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, code reviews, and source control.
