What you'll do

Design and deliver a scalable, high-throughput, and low-latency network architecture.
Implement workflows to orchestrate on-orbit payload activities for the satellite constellation.
Develop highly-available software to drive networking control plane operations on physical and virtual nodes.
Automate processes for software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
Diagnose routing and forwarding issues across the control plane, data plane, and physical topology.
Integrate telemetry, link-state, and network-condition data into route computation systems.
Develop routing behaviors for topology transitions, node movements, and degraded links.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
