What you'll do

Lead the design of embedded software for satellite and ground systems.
Develop firmware using embedded Linux, Yocto, or Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Write kernel code and develop drivers for peripheral devices like Ethernet, PCIe, SPI, and I2C.

Guide software designs from initial requirements gathering through to mass production.
Mentor a team of software engineers on best practices and technical standards.
Resolve high-priority issues in a fast-paced production environment.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Experience with Linux operating system, embedded systems, consumer devices, or mobile apps.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
5+ years of experience in manufacturing diagnostics through production phases like HVT, EVT, DVT, and PVT (preferred).
