Join our RFIC Engineering team as a Senior RF Front-End Module Design Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced RF modules for the Starlink Mobile network. Your daily tasks will include designing and integrating custom RF front-end components into compact multi-chip modules (MCMs), performing detailed simulations and EM analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize module performance. You’ll need expertise in ADS, HFSS, AWR, MATLAB, Python, and hands-on experience with BAW filter design and MCM substrate technologies. This role demands a deep understanding of RF passive components and EM principles, as well as proficiency in designing linear and non-linear circuits for high-volume production environments.

What you'll do

Design and develop RF front-end MCMs for 5G NR, LTE, and Wi-Fi applications.
Integrate various components into compact multi-chip modules (MCMs).
Specify performance requirements for RFICs and BAW filters in modules.
Perform detailed circuit and EM simulations of full module with sub-components.
Conduct lab bring-up, characterization, and debugging of module prototypes.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in RF/Microwave or RFIC engineering
Master’s degree or PhD in relevant engineering discipline with emphasis on RF/microwave circuits/systems
Experience designing multi-chip RF modules for cellular and Wi-Fi applications
Proficiency in MCM substrate/packaging technologies and manufacturing processes
Expertise in BAW filter design and understanding of RF passive components
Module/RF/microwave design using ADS, HFSS, AWR or similar tools
Python programming experience for test automation and modeling RF systems
