What you'll do

Derive hardware specifications for RF systems and individual MMIC blocks.
Develop MMIC products from initial specification through to mass production.
Simulate and model front-end circuits at the circuit and electromagnetic levels.
Determine packaging and implementation methods for MMICs in coordination with PCB designers.
Evaluate, characterize, and analyze the performance of MMIC prototypes.
Assist in developing automated test equipment for laboratory measurements.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on production testing of components and RF systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
5+ years of research and/or industry experience in RF/microwave circuit design.
Experience with GaAs and/or GaN MMIC design for linear and non-linear circuits like power amplifiers, LNAs, mixers, filters, and PLLs.
Proficiency in full circuit design and layout.
Mastery of RF/microwave design tools such as ADS, HFSS, or AWR.
Experience with radio test equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and probe stations at millimeter wave frequencies.
Ability to perform schematic and layout using Altium Designer or other PCB design tools.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, protected refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
