The Sr. R&D Engineer joins the Central R&D organization to drive New Product Development of advanced filtration projects and next-generation separation and purification solutions. Working cross-functionally, this individual will design, analyze, and engineer new products with differentiated performance improvements while ensuring technical alignment with the Energy+ business unit. The role involves managing the full value chain of filtration technology design, including modeling, prototyping, testing, and analysis to build intellectual property. Candidates must possess a background in chemical, mechanical, or materials engineering with expertise in fluid-flow, strength of materials, and structural-mechanical design for liquid and gas technologies. Key technical skills include dynamic flow testing, finite element methods, process modeling, and macro- and micro-fluid flow. The position focuses on solving complex challenges in the filtration industry by developing innovative products to improve performance and quality.
Conduct and engage in New Product Development (NPD) for advanced filtration projects.
Design, analyze, and engineer new products using engineering software and design calculations.
Apply expertise in fluid-flow, strength of materials, and structural-mechanical design to liquid and gas technologies.
Manage the full value chain including modeling, prototyping, testing, and analysis of filtration designs.
Lead innovation to develop new technologies and contribute to the company's intellectual property.
Act as a subject matter expert to mentor new talent in design and testing methodologies.
Align technical strategies with the Energy+ business unit to ensure consistent product performance.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering.
At least 5+ years of experience in R&D, product development, and/or design engineering.
Experience in dynamic flow testing and analysis.
Technical background in system design for filtration technology (preferred).
Technical background related to filtration technology for liquid/gas separation and purification (preferred).
Technical skills in macro- and micro-fluid flow, structural mechanics, design to engineering, finite element methods, and/or process modelling (preferred).
