What you'll do

Design and develop software to control robotic medical devices in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Develop low-level software in C and C++ to enable hardware component communication and functionality.
Create application-level software to automate robotic and mechanical systems using state-based design methods.
Code, test, and validate software to ensure safe and reliable performance for laboratory environments.
Support testing efforts to verify that software meets requirements and follows quality standards.
Investigate on-market issues and implement corrections following established software engineering processes.
Contribute to technical documentation including design reviews, code reviews, and software requirements.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members on software development tasks.

What we're looking for

Associate's degree with 10+ years of related experience.
Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of related experience.
Master's Degree with 4+ years of related experience.
Advanced experience in designing and developing complex software systems.
Advanced knowledge in modern programming languages such as C/C++/C# or Python and agile methodologies.
Advanced level of understanding of test-driven methodologies and continuous integration & continuous development (CI/CD).
Ability to provide guidance to junior team members and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with unit testing, mocking environments, RTOS based applications, and robotics sensor control (preferred).
