Senior QA Tester

What you'll do

• Define and execute the test strategy for the embedded game team.
• Identify bugs and opportunities to improve overall product quality.
• Analyze the game from a player's perspective to improve the user experience.
• Write comprehensive test documentation including test cases and test plans.
• Use defect tracking software to manage and report software issues.
• Communicate testing progress and status clearly to managers and team members.
• Champion quality for the product by acting as the voice of quality.

What we're looking for

• Associate’s degree or equivalent industry experience in an embedded environment, preferably in Quality Assurance.
• Experience with testing and defect tracking software, preferably Jira.
• Experience writing test documentation including test cases and test plans.
• Experience with different gaming platforms.
• Understanding of white, gray, and black box testing practices.
• Knowledge of software development methodology and stages such as milestones, sprints, Alpha, and Beta.
• Strong knowledge of American Football.
• Experience with collaboration tools like Confluence, Miro, or Slack (preferred).
