The Sr. Principal Software Development Analyst – Quality Engineering & Business Process Integration joins the CIDO team to support PLM Architect Solutions. As a senior individual contributor, you will provide enterprise-wide leadership in software testing, quality engineering, and quality governance. You will define testing standards, enhance quality practices, and advance test automation capabilities to ensure technology solutions integrate with critical business processes. Your daily work involves leading the design of automated testing frameworks for APIs and enterprise applications, enforcing CI/CD quality gates, and conducting quality reviews for critical initiatives. You will utilize skills in UI automation, performance testing, and test data management while collaborating with product and engineering teams. This role solves the challenge of translating complex business requirements into reliable, secure, and high-performing software solutions within a regulated environment.
Define and drive enterprise-wide software testing and quality engineering standards aligned with engineering frameworks.
Establish and maintain quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure software reliability and delivery effectiveness.
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of testing frameworks and methodologies across diverse platforms.
Champion shift-left testing strategies and quality-by-design principles throughout the software development life cycle.
Lead the design and governance of automated testing capabilities for enterprise applications, APIs, and integrations.
Define and enforce CI/CD quality gates and automated validation processes within build and deployment pipelines.
Develop and maintain software quality assurance controls, standards, and governance frameworks across all programs.
Translate business requirements and process changes into measurable quality objectives and corresponding testing strategies.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
Must possess a current US Government Secret level security clearance.
Must have U.S. Citizenship.
Must have 5+ years of experience in software development, quality engineering, software testing, or closely related disciplines.
Must have 3+ years of experience leading enterprise or multi-program testing and quality initiatives as a senior technical individual contributor or quality lead.
Must have experience with software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/DevOps practices.
Must have strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for UI, API, performance, and regression automation.
Must have experience validating enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
