What you'll do

  • Establish and maintain a software quality management system compliant with AS9115 and AS9100 standards.
  • Lead software quality risk assessments across the full development lifecycle, including requirements management and design reviews.
  • Develop and implement quality control methodologies such as static/dynamic analysis and defect trend analysis.
  • Manage software configuration management, change control processes, and baseline software configurations.
  • Support FAA/EASA certification activities and manage documentation packages for Supplemental Type Certificate compliance.
  • Oversee supplier software quality assessments and ensure QMS requirements flow down to subcontracted partners.
  • Lead internal audits, peer reviews, and milestone readiness assessments to ensure software release quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement through software process measurement, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementations.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
