What you'll do
Ensure proper planning, execution, and documentation of software releases, patches, and hotfixes.
Coordinate with developers, product owners, and engineering managers to manage software release timelines.
Serve as primary point of contact between Regional Apps Agile Release Train (ART) and other ARTs for current and future releases.
Collaborate with Configuration Management, Release Management, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure successful software deployments.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the Regional Apps Enterprise.
Prioritize and manage emergency software changes to resolve operational deficiencies or anomalies promptly.
Support Regional Apps PI Planning by ensuring development teams plan work needed for future releases.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
Active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher
At least 5 years of software development experience with a focus on release and configuration management
Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles including planning, testing, and deployment
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs
