What you'll do

  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost, risk, and supportability analyses for total systems.
  • Convert customer requirements into hardware and software specifications while managing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Develop and update Program Protection Plans (PPP), Anti-Tamper Plans (ATP), and Technology Assessment and Control Plans (TA/CP).
  • Coordinate the design, implementation, and documentation of NIST RMF 800-53 controls and ASD STIG requirements.
  • Assess system vulnerabilities and mission risks using DoD Cyber T&E Guidebook guidelines to evaluate resilience against cyber threats.
  • Evaluate acquisition documents for compliance with Critical Program Information (CPI) and Critical Components (CC) protection requirements.
  • Review information requests and provide security assessments for engineering, task, and configuration change proposals.
  • Lead System Security Working Group meetings and conduct Criticality Analyses to determine mission system risks and mitigations.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or a Master's/PhD in a STEM field with corresponding years of experience.
  • Level 3 requires 5 years of experience for a Bachelor's, 3 years for a Master's, or 1 year for a PhD.
  • Level 4 requires 8 years of experience for a Bachelor's, 6 years for a Master's, or 4 years for a PhD.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a CISSP certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferred experience includes over 5 years in cyber systems and implementing NIST RMF controls and DISA ASD STIGs.
  • Experience with the DoD Cyber T&E Guidebook and presenting to technical stakeholders is preferred.
  • Preference given to candidates with an active DoD security clearance.
