The Sr. Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst joins the Classified Solutions team to manage the cybersecurity program for assigned information systems throughout their lifecycle. This role involves conducting system audits, monitoring security controls, and performing assessments of networks within specific enclaves to identify deviations from established policies. The analyst will drive government policy implementation, oversee risk mitigation through Assessment and Authorization processes, and lead formal Security Test and Evaluation activities. Key responsibilities include preparing critical documentation such as System Security Plans and Plan of Action and Milestones. Candidates should possess expertise in cybersecurity compliance, RMF, and tools like ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP. The role requires deep knowledge of NIST, JSIG, and DAAG frameworks to ensure secure information systems operate within a classified environment while meeting rigorous government security requirements and accreditation standards.
Manage the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems and execute related tasks.
Conduct and lead regular system audits and continuous monitoring activities to improve security posture.
Assess networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policies, or local requirements.
Analyze and validate established security requirements while recommending additional safeguards and process tailoring.
Oversee program control processes to mitigate risk and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) cycles.
Lead formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities including preparation, testing, and result analysis.
Prepare and submit official A&A documentation such as System Security Plans and Risk Acceptance Reports.
What we're looking for
Must have a Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or a Bachelor's with 8 years, or an Associate's with 10 years, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years.
Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Sr. Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM III.
Must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (or be enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation Program).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (preferred).
Experience in cybersecurity compliance, such as Assessment & Authorization under RMF (preferred).
Knowledge of security tools like ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP; and frameworks like NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs (preferred).
