The Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst joins the Classified Solutions team to support information systems lifecycle activities within a secure environment. The role involves conducting system audits, continuous monitoring of security controls, and performing assessments of networks to identify deviations from established policies. Key responsibilities include validating security requirements, implementing government policies, managing risk mitigation through Assessment and Authorization processes, and supporting formal Security Test and Evaluation activities. The candidate will manage documentation for the Risk Management Framework body of evidence while conducting research on emerging technologies and hardware. Required skills include proficiency in tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP, alongside knowledge of NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs. This position addresses the critical challenge of maintaining security posture for information systems within a classified domain.
Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring of security controls, configurations, and operational processes.
Assess networks within enclaves to identify deviations from established policies or acceptable configurations.
Analyze and validate security requirements while recommending additional safeguards and process tailoring.
Establish program control processes to mitigate risks and support the Assessment and Authorization of systems.
Perform research on emerging technologies, hardware introductions, and software releases for system integration.
Support formal Security Test and Evaluation activities including pre-test preparation and result analysis.
Document results of assessment activities and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
What we're looking for
Must have a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 7 years of experience.
A High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst – Security+.
Must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with a closed investigation date within the last 6 years or be enrolled in the CE Program.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Preferred experience in cybersecurity compliance, specifically Assessment & Authorization under RMF.
Preferred knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP.
