What you'll do

Lead multiple teams of firmware, embedded systems, and services software engineers.
Manage employee lifecycle including hiring, retention, performance management, and skill development.

Own the software roadmap and mission while refining requirements with government customers.
Design software systems and interfaces to fulfill specific government customer use cases.
Integrate hardware and software system elements across space and ground segments.
Deliver scalable, real-time solutions for RF, Optical, and Network layer connectivity.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
10+ years of engineering experience.
10+ years of software development experience.
10+ years of embedded software development experience with expertise in mission-critical satellite or ground-based communication/networking systems.
5+ years of engineering team management experience.
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams (preferred).
Experience in Networking/Wireless Communication Systems, RF engineering, or leading teams in aerospace/safety-critical industries (preferred).
