What you'll do

Develop high data rate packet processing systems using network layer packet processing and Software Defined Networking.
Design and build foundational software services for mission-critical space safety and sustainability applications.
Create and maintain scalable, real-time software solutions tailored for U.S. Government and international customers.
Develop and manage simulated test environments to demonstrate the capabilities of defined interfaces and architectures.
Lead internal and vendor teams to deliver on specific software and interface requirements.
Ensure all systems meet strict requirements for availability, reliability, upgradeability, interoperability, and security.
Communicate project health, risks, and issues to stakeholders while driving urgent issues to timely closure.
Provide visualizations and document results across multi-disciplinary project teams.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Experience in network layer packet processing and Software Defined Networking.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Rust.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
