What you'll do

Lead production stability efforts by preventing issues and improving overall application availability.
Drive Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes in accordance with ITIL methodologies.
Identify measures to improve application stability, cost efficiencies, and productivity gains.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff to foster teamwork and communication.
Consult with business partners to determine effective computer utilization for solving business problems.
Direct systems projects including planning, status reporting, specifications, and implementation.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements, change control procedures, and data security standards.
Coordinate with onsite and offshore partners to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Must have prior or current software production support experience.
Must have application development or support experience using modern technical frameworks and architecture.
Must have prior work experience supporting business applications on Java and database technologies.
Experience working on projects in an Agile/XP environment.
Experience using technologies such as Java, J2EE, Cloud Computing, RESTful interfaces, GIT, Gradle, Maven, Spring, or Oracle PL/SQL.
Understanding of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and/or other methodologies.
Past experience under a DevOps or SRE role (preferred).
Work Authorization.
