What you'll do

Lead production stability efforts by preventing issues and improving application availability.
Manage incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL methodologies.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Consult with business partners to determine effective technology solutions for business needs.
Direct systems projects including planning, status reporting, specifications, and implementation.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements, change control procedures, and data security protocols.
Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.
Provide 24/7 on-call support for high and critical production issues during nights and weekends.

What we're looking for

Must have prior or current software production support experience.
Application development/support experience using modern technical frameworks and architecture.
Experience supporting business applications on Java and database technologies.
Experience working on projects in an Agile or XP environment.
Understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) or other methodologies.
Proficiency with technologies including Java, J2EE, Cloud Computing, RESTful interfaces, Git, Spring, and Oracle PL/SQL.
Past experience under a DevOps or SRE role (preferred).
Work Authorization.
