What you'll do

Lead production stability efforts by preventing issues and improving application availability and cost efficiency.
Manage ITIL processes including Change, Incident, and Problem Management for project releases.
Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Consult with business partners to determine effective technology solutions for specific business needs.
Direct systems projects including planning, status reporting, system specifications, and implementation.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements, change control procedures, and data security protocols.
Provide 24/7 on-call support for high and critical production issues during nights and weekends.

What we're looking for

Must have prior or current software production support experience.
Application development/support experience using modern technical frameworks and architecture.
Experience supporting business applications on Java and database technologies.
Understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and ITIL processes.
Experience working in Agile/XP environments.
Proficiency with technologies such as J2EE, Cloud Computing, RESTful interfaces, Oracle PL/SQL, or others listed in the posting.
Experience under a DevOps or SRE role (preferred).
