What you'll do

Perform hands-on development, support, and bug fixes for real-time trading systems.
Design and develop trading tools and technical solutions across pre-trade, trade capture, and pricing domains.
Analyze legacy systems to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
Develop metrics and KPIs to measure transformation success and report progress to senior leadership.
Create proof-of-concept solutions to validate the feasibility of new technological designs.
Lead pilot projects to test and evaluate new technologies and methodologies.
Build scalable and robust solutions that support specific business needs for trading, risk, and P&L teams.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in Software Engineering concepts or 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, Spring Boot, and SQL/Stored Procedures.
Experience with messaging systems including Kafka, IBM MQ, Tibco, and AMPS.
Experience developing transformation projects within the Fixed Income trading system domain.
Demonstrated ability to influence across complex organizations and deliver value at scale.
Experience in system design, testing, and ensuring operational stability for complex projects.
Experience as a lead software engineer for a small team is preferred.
A graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
