What you'll do

Use AI-powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Claude for daily development, debugging, and refactoring.
Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions including RAG pipelines and agentic systems.
Architect AI systems with focus on scalability, cost management, latency, and hallucination mitigation.
Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by others.
Apply systems thinking to manage components and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.
Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.
Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams to own project outcomes end-to-end.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor for daily use.
Hands-on experience building AI/ML-powered features including RAG systems, AI agents, prompt engineering, or LLM integration.
3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Proficiency in Python programming and experience with Django or another web backend framework.
Experience with React or another modern UI framework.
Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
Solid understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Google ADK, or similar) (preferred).
Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, Chroma, or similar) and embedding models (preferred).
Understanding of LLM evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices (preferred).
Exposure to Data Engineering tools and platforms, especially Databricks (preferred).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP (preferred).
