What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and external vendors.
Drive decisions regarding product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
Lead the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Serve as a subject matter expert on firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices.
Influence project decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies and innovative engineering solutions.
Solve complex design and functionality problems independently with minimal oversight.
Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
Advanced proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, or Node.js.
Strong proficiency with RAG architectures, including chunking strategies, embedding models, and vector stores.
Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI.
Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude models, and model invocation APIs.
Proven prompt engineering skills and experience building conversational AI chatbots and voicebots.
Proficiency with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
Experience in the Financial Services industry (preferred).
