Senior Lead Security Infrastructure Engineer, HSM Management

What you'll do

• Design and document complex Hardware Security Module (HSM) and cryptographic infrastructure architectures.
• Manage the full lifecycle of HSM solutions including deployment, configuration, and integration on Thales and FutureX platforms.
• Oversee the migration, upgrade, and consolidation of HSM infrastructure to ensure business continuity.
• Provide expert guidance on cryptographic key management, secure storage, and confidential computing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues while performing root cause analysis using monitoring tools.
• Participate in risk assessments, audits, and incident response activities for cryptographic environments.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate security risk analysis and documentation.
• Apply domain knowledge of payment processes and business resiliency to inform infrastructure design decisions.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• 7 or more years of hands-on engineering experience with Hardware Security Modules, including architecture, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support security engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
• Proficiency in Linux and Unix administration within enterprise environments for technical troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, key management, confidential computing, and secure hardware operations.
• Hands-on experience with OpenSSL, certificate-based authentication, and public cloud key management services.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and designing/documenting architecture using standard tools.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, Splunk, payment processes, or Thales/FutureX certifications (preferred).
