As a Sr Lead Security Engineer - Role Core, you will join an agile team dedicated to building and delivering trusted, scalable technology products. What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for others.
Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
Drive decisions regarding product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
Serve as a subject matter expert on firmwide frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices.
Use enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate security risk analysis and documentation.
Apply AI-assisted practices within SDLC routines to strengthen security testing and control validation.
Review and validate AI-assisted security recommendations to ensure alignment with auditability expectations.

What we're looking for

Formal training and certification with 5+ years of experience building high performance API first services and integrating tooling.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in two or more programming languages including C#, C++, Go, Python, and Java.
Advanced knowledge of software applications and in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines like cloud, AI, or machine learning.
Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, SSL/TLS inspection, traffic interception, and API gateway patterns.
Proven ability to build scalable distributed systems handling high throughput traffic in a cloud native environment.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support security engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
Experience with API Gateway Development, custom proxy development, or SSE, CASB, or SIEM integration (preferred).
