Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Managed File Transfer

What you'll do

• Lead the design, implementation, and onboarding of secure managed file transfer solutions for internal and external partners.
• Architect and maintain enterprise file transfer platforms including SFTP, Connect:Direct, Axway Secure Transport, and Secure Proxy.
• Serve as a technical consultant on connectivity patterns, authentication methods, encryption standards, and onboarding requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving routing, encryption, certificates, and connectivity across distributed environments.
• Drive automation and self-service initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Ensure all file transfer services comply with enterprise risk, governance, audit, and security requirements.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration activities to ensure high availability.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, operational procedures, and support runbooks for file transfer services.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience or equivalent training/education.
• 2+ years of experience supporting multiple file transfer protocols including FTPS, SFTP, NDM, and HTTPS.
• 2+ years of experience in a role requiring customer communication via phone and email.
• Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows server platforms (preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and proxy-related issues (preferred).
• Knowledge of secure authentication and encryption technologies including SSH, TLS/SSL, certificates, and PKI (preferred).
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting, or similar technologies (preferred).
