Infrastructure Engineer II, Managed File Transfer

What you'll do

• Test infrastructure performance and verify that technical requirements are successfully met.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate infrastructure analysis and documentation.
• Collect and analyze monitoring data across both test and production environments.
• Develop frameworks to reduce operational toil and application technical debt.
• Troubleshoot file transfer protocols, ciphers, and encryption methods like FTP and SFTP.
• Debug and maintain automated tasks for applications, systems, and infrastructure.
• Manage risk and controls by ensuring all work meets company-wide standards.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• 2+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure analysis with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.
• Understanding of cloud, virtualization, APIs, and languages such as Python, Java, Bash, Shell, Perl, and SQL.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting file transfer protocols, ciphers, and encryption (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, AS2).
• Experience in production support, testing, and debugging of automated tasks for apps, systems, and infrastructure.
• Experience developing frameworks to reduce operational toil or technical debt while maintaining system availability.
