As a Sr. Hardware Engineer (EDVT & PHY Qual), you will join the Common Hardware Group to lead electrical design validation and physical layer qualification for next-generation enterprise and industrial switches. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive, end-to-end test architectures across complex board components and PHY systems while ensuring hardware meets high performance and industry standards. Your daily work involves utilizing test automation, scripting, and cross-functional collaboration to debug root-cause issues and ensure compliance for mass production releases. The role requires proficiency in Python, as well as experience with oscilloscopes, power meters, signal generators, vector network analyzers, and thermal chambers. You will address technical challenges involving high-speed interfaces like 10G/25G/100G/400G, PHY/Signal Integrity for filters, IEEE 802.3 compliance, and various bus architectures including PCIe, USB, and I2C within the networking hardware domain.
