What you'll do

Design and build AWS GovCloud infrastructure following FedRAMP and FISMA compliance requirements.
Establish PostgreSQL database infrastructure including performance optimization, backup/recovery, and high availability.
Develop infrastructure-as-code from scratch using Chef to automate server provisioning and configuration management.
Integrate application access controls and identity management systems using Google SAML integration.
Deploy and configure Business Intelligence infrastructure including Tableau Server installation and performance tuning.
Architect multi-environment systems with network segmentation, security boundaries, and promotion workflows.
Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability systems for infrastructure and data pipelines.
Provide operational support by triaging and resolving ETL/ELT failures and database performance issues.

What we're looking for

6+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and operations.
3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
Proven experience building cloud infrastructure from scratch for greenfield projects.
Strong PostgreSQL administration experience including performance tuning, replication, and high availability.
Strong Python programming skills for automation, data pipeline monitoring, and operational scripting.
Proven hands-on experience with Chef for infrastructure-as-code, including creating cookbooks and recipes.
Experience configuring enterprise identity and access management, specifically Google SAML and SSO.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline (or equivalent experience).
Security clearance eligible or ability to obtain government security clearance.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
