Sr. Engineering Manager, Broker Dealer

What you'll do

• Manage a team of 6-8 backend engineers building trading technology for investing products.
• Mentor and guide engineers to align their career growth with the team’s mission.
• Ensure maintainability and reliability in the technology built by the team.
• Balance project speed with correctness and quality in every initiative.
• Refine team processes to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently.
• Develop deep domain knowledge to effectively partner across internal stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years experience in formal Engineering Management with direct reports.
• 8+ years building and maintaining backend distributed systems using Java or similar language.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and inspire talented engineers for excellence.
• Rapidly close knowledge gaps and enhance productivity within the organization.
• Cultivate high-performing teams focused on speed of execution while maintaining quality.
• Adjust leadership style to meet evolving team and business needs effectively.
