As a Sr. Distinguished Engineer, Front End (Angular), you will join the Client Platforms team to define the technical vision for the web platform ecosystem. You will lead architecture and standards for AI-native web delivery, manage large-scale platform migrations, and establish engineering practices to improve developer experience across hundreds of contributors. Your daily work involves decomposing complex problems into practical solutions, ensuring high quality in technical designs, and serving as an expert on performance, scalability, and operability. You will utilize Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and various cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. Additionally, you will leverage AI and ML frameworks to build distributed systems. This role addresses the challenge of creating scalable web infrastructure for authenticated servicing, marketing, and design system capabilities while integrating agentic tooling and machine-consumable architectures into the development workflow.

What you'll do

Define and drive the technical vision for the web platform ecosystem including authenticated servicing and design systems.
Lead architectural decisions for large-scale platform integrations and migrations to ensure long-term system health.
Establish AI-native development standards, agentic tooling, and machine-consumable architectures for web platforms.
Improve developer experience and platform NPS across hundreds of enterprise-wide inner source contributors.
Decompose complex problems into practical, operational solutions while ensuring the quality of technical designs.
Act as a technical authority on non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and operability.
Mentor and coach engineers to strengthen the technical expertise of the broader product community.
Create technical content including code samples and blog posts to share knowledge internally and externally.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 9 years of experience in Enterprise architecture and design patterns on front end technologies like Angular and React.
At least 9 years of experience in Software engineering, solution architecture, and software specializations.
At least 7 years of experience in Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
At least 7 years of experience in Web technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, and SPA frameworks.
Experience with the full ML development lifecycle using AI and ML frameworks.
Experience designing and building distributed HPC and ML systems.
Expertise in leading technical strategy for large-scale web platforms and defining engineering standards for inner source models.
