What you'll do

  • Direct and manage the activities of the Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) to ensure SLA-driven delivery of threat detection processes.
  • Ensure all threat alerts are handled appropriately according to established service level agreements.
  • Manage SOC teams across vulnerability management, incident handling, and forensics functions.
  • Improve the organization's cyber security posture by defending against threats in coordination with other leadership.
  • Use analytical tools to assess risk, identify vulnerabilities, and drive investigative decisions.
  • Develop awareness campaigns, training programs, and executive-level briefings regarding cybersecurity.
  • Oversee the annual budget and allocate resources for various projects and operational needs.
  • Translate technical initiatives into compelling business cases and conduct cost-benefit analyses to justify investments.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (preferred).
  • CISSP certification (preferred).
  • A Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in Information Technology/Information Security, or 16 years of experience in Information Technology/Information Security.
  • At least 5 years of experience in management and/or leadership.
  • Experience managing SOC teams, including vulnerability management, incident handling, forensics, and network scanning.
  • Knowledge of hacker methodologies, system vulnerabilities, key indicators of attacks, and IT standards like HIPAA.
  • Ability to use analytical tools to assess risk, identify vulnerabilities, and develop action plans in high-stress environments.
  • Experience developing awareness campaigns, training programs, and executive-level briefings.
