TL;DR · Senior Director of Network Access Next-Gen Products

The Sr. Director of Network Access Next-Gen Products leads the strategy, modernization, and commercialization of the Access portfolio. This role involves defining multi-year roadmaps to simplify connectivity, reduce onboarding friction, and modernize legacy capabilities for issuers, acquirers, and fintechs. The leader will manage portfolio priorities, investment strategies, and migration plans to ensure a resilient, scalable platform. Key responsibilities include overseeing API-first and cloud-based integration models, including Visa Cloud Connect and VisaNet Connect APIs, while expanding scheme-agnostic reach across domestic rails and non-Visa schemes. The position requires expertise in payments ecosystems, B2B infrastructure, and platform migrations. The successful candidate will also leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve product management, operational efficiency, and decision-making while leading a team of product managers to achieve measurable growth.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute a multi-year strategy for the Access portfolio to simplify connectivity and modernize legacy capabilities.
  • Develop portfolio roadmaps and investment strategies aligned with Network Products objectives and company priorities.
  • Lead modernization initiatives for APIs, cloud connectivity, onboarding, and integration platforms to reduce technical debt.
  • Establish migration strategies that drive adoption of modern platform capabilities while minimizing client disruption and operational risk.
  • Define strategies to simplify client access to domestic rails, non-Visa schemes, and localized payment ecosystems.
  • Partner with Commercial and Pricing teams to develop adoption, commercialization, and go-to-market plans for strategic capabilities.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics across the Access portfolio.
  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • Must have 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 5 years with a PhD.
  • Must have 12 or more years of relevant experience in product management, platform strategy, payments, financial technology, or network services (preferred).
  • Must have experience leading complex product portfolios and executing multi-year product strategies, investment roadmaps, and modernization programs (preferred).
  • Must have a strong understanding of payments ecosystems, including issuers, acquirers, processors, fintechs, gateways, and domestic schemes (preferred).
  • Must have experience leading products involving connectivity, APIs, cloud-based integration, onboarding, gateways, or complex B2B infrastructure (preferred).
  • Must have experience developing business cases and making investment trade-offs across growth, modernization, resiliency, and regulatory requirements (preferred).
  • Must have demonstrated commercialization experience, including go-to-market planning, pricing, adoption, and revenue-growth strategies (preferred).
  • Must have experience leading and developing product-management teams within global, matrixed organizations (preferred).
